Terms of Service

Plain terms for a service that works for the buyer. These terms govern your use of Ask Tavo.

What Ask Tavo is

Ask Tavo is a car-buying research, communication, and deal-review assistant for vehicle buyers. Tavo works for the buyer.
Tavo is not a dealership or lender. Tavo does not sell vehicles, act as a dealer of record, or originate, broker, or provide financing or insurance.
Tavo provides informational guidance and estimates, not legal, tax, or financial advice.

Using the service requires an account and the deal or search information you choose to provide. The Privacy Policy describes the categories collected and how they are used.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit; estimates depend on it.

You may upload a quote, worksheet, or buyer's order. You represent that you have the right to share any document you upload.
Uploaded documents are stored privately and used to perform the review you requested.

The service uses artificial intelligence to read submitted information, draft messages, and produce estimates and recommendations.
AI output can be incomplete or incorrect and must be reviewed by you before you rely on it or approve a message.

Tavo drafts messages to dealerships and sends them under your direction. You remain the party to any communication, negotiation, appointment, or purchase with a dealership.
Ask Tavo is not responsible for a dealership's pricing, conduct, inventory accuracy, or honoring of a quote.

No dealer communication or negotiation is sent without the buyer's authorization. You approve every negotiation or dealer message before it is sent.
By using the service you authorize Tavo to process your submitted information to deliver it, and you may withdraw authorization for further outreach at any time.

Information is shared with service providers that operate the product and with dealerships to the extent needed to carry out outreach you authorize.
Recommendations are based on buyer value, not dealer compensation.

Account, deal, document, and message records are retained while your account is active, and afterwards only where required for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your account or uploaded documents at privacy@asktavo.com.
Deleting information may end an in-progress search or Deal Check.

We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no online service can be completely secure and we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

Deal Check results, Deal Score™ categories, out-the-door totals, market comparisons, and trade estimates are informational estimates based on the information available at the time.
Listing, pricing, incentive, and market data may come from dealerships and third-party sources and can be inaccurate or out of date.
Vehicle availability, pricing, financing, taxes, fees, incentives, and trade values must be confirmed with the dealership and lender before you sign anything.

Ask Tavo does not guarantee that a vehicle will be available, that a dealership will respond or honor a quote, that financing will be approved, or that any particular price, score, or savings will be achieved.

Ask Tavo services are purchased by the buyer at the prices listed on this site at the time of purchase.
Recommendations are based on buyer value, not dealer compensation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ask Tavo's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid Ask Tavo for the service giving rise to the claim.
Ask Tavo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost savings or a deal that does not close.
The service is provided on an as-is basis without warranties beyond those that cannot be disclaimed under applicable law.

Do not use the service to send unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or bulk automated communications, to misrepresent your identity, or to submit another person's deal without permission.
Do not scrape the service, attempt to bypass its security, or resell access without written permission.
We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or place dealer communication channels at risk.

We may update these terms as the product changes, and we may modify or discontinue features.
Material changes will be reflected in the effective date below.
